Nursery Sessions and Charges

Staverton CE Primary School offers nursery sessions for 8 children from the September after their 3rd birthday.

Nursery sessions are available Monday – Friday during school term time only. Children attending the afternoon session will finish at 3.15 pm. Charges are as follows :

Session Time Charge

Morning 9.00 am – 12.00 pm  - £16.50

Afternoon (incl lunchtime*) 12.00 pm – 3.00 pm - £16.50

Extended afternoon charge (if booking afternoon only) 3.00 pm – 3.15 pm Free

Staverton Primary School supports the free entitlement for 3-4 year olds who start in the term following the child’s 3rd birthday.

Funding entitlement will :

· Apply for a maximum of 15 hours in any week (parents may pay for additional sessions).

· Apply for the funded weeks of the terms – this may vary depending on the length of each term.

Payment

· Payment is made via the Arbor Parent Portal and is due at the start of the month in which the sessions take place.

· We ask for payment to be made via BACS direct to bank.

· When making payment through BACS, please use the following format for your reference number : the first letter of your child’s first name, the first three letters of your child’s surname and thereafter the reference number itself (ie Joe Bloggs – JBLO703154).

School Closures

· Fees will not be due for days when the school is closed such as Training Days and Bank Holidays.

· A calendar of term dates will be made available to parents clearly showing all such closure dates (this can be found on the Staverton Primary School website under Staverton CE Primary School - Home under the tab Key Info/Term Dates).

Late Payment

· Will attract an administration charge of £10 and a further £10 for each month that the fees remain outstanding.

· We do understand that there are occasions in which people run into genuine financial difficulty – in this case, please advise our Headteacher immediately in writing.

· Payment of fees is the responsibility of the signatory on the registration form, as would be any collection charges that may be incurred in the recovery of any outstanding monies.

Holiday/Sickness

· As the Nursery is only open in term times, Nursery children will be expected to attend throughout the term – fees are always payable whether the child attends or not.

· Consideration will be given in the event of any special circumstances (eg medical) that may impact on attendance in the longer term.

· There will be no reduction or refund for holidays taken in term time.

· If your child is not well enough to attend Nursery, please contact the school by 9 am to advise us.

· A Leave of Absence Request Form should be completed in good time should you need to request time off school.

Late Collection of Child

· The Nursery reserve the right to charge additional fees at 15 minute intervals, or to terminate a child’s place if there is a persistent late collection.

Notice Period

· If you wish to withdraw your child from the Nursery we require 4 weeks’ written notice in advance, or one month’s fees in lieu of notice.

Change of fees

· All fees quoted will be subject to review on an annual basis; any changes will be kept to a minimum and will be advised in writing.
