At Staverton Primary School, we deliver a curriculum that encourages the children to become geographers. We endeavour to give children the knowledge, skills and understanding to appreciate the immediate area and wider world they live in.

Our Geography curriculum has been recently reshaped and is linked to the National Curriculum, with an emphasis on what we would like our children at Staverton to learn and remember. We aim for the curriculum to be aspirational, unique and engaging. It aims to enable children to link ideas and skills they learn in a purposeful way.

On this page, you will find our long-term plan and some photos of recent displays and work.

About Us

Situated in the picturesque village of Staverton, our small village school is a well established and integral part of the local community. We enjoy very secure links with our local church, St. Mary's, and the strong Christian ethos and family feel within our school is shared with all of our visitors. In August 2014, our school became an academy, joining the Peterborough Diocese Education Trust.
